It’s pretty rare that I get a night out that isn’t in some way directly tied to my work. Last night, I had just such an opportunity. Sara Penny, of the Cedar City Arts Council, approached me about writing a review of the Orchestra of Southern Nevada for the CCAC website. I went with my roommate and thoroughly enjoyed the show. As much as I’d love to stay and chat tonight, I’m pretty snowed under between homework and a looming scholarship application deadline. For a shot at $3,000, it’s a good time investment, so it’s kinda hard to complain. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back in the next couple of days with more news and surprises, so stay tuned!
